The Weight of Honor (DVD)
Directed by Stephanie Seldin Howard
Filmed over five years, THE WEIGHT OF HONOR follows the lives of caregivers to veterans who have been catastrophically wounded in America’s longest war. The film reveals the family dynamic that forms between them and the parents, spouses, siblings – even children – who must cope with what happens when wounded troops return from Iraq and Afghanistan to start anew at home. It is a poignant, heartfelt documentary film that tells the stories of what families do to find their “new normal.”
