The battle of Huertgen Forest was one of the bloodiest of World War II. American and German forces combined suffered in excess of 60,000 casualties during a campaign that lasted six months under harsh weather conditions. ON COMMON GROUND sees the men that survived the ordeal meeting once again nearly 55 years later, resolving questions that have remained unanswered for decades. Featuring commentary from former NBC News Anchor Tom Brokaw and former CBS News Anchor Walter Cronkite, along with never-before-seen historical World War II combat footage.

DVD Extras Include:

Curriculum and Teachers Guide for Grades 6-12 | Interactive Pop-ups | Facts, Photos and Footage for Classroom Discussion
