From Noon Till Three (DVD)
Directed by Frank D. Gilroy
Don 'Red' Barry
Mastered in HD! Desperado! Dentist! Convict No. 294681! Gleefully demolishing his customary iron-chested macho image, screen legend Charles Bronson (Mr. Majestyk, The White Buffalo) demonstrates an unexpected talent for comedy in this ebulliently cheerful satire co-starring Jill Ireland (Breakheart Pass). Bronson plays Graham Dorsey, a small-time bank robber who, through a series of offbeat twists and turns finds himself the mythical object of national adoration. The bewitchingly beautiful and quite looney widow Amanda Starbuck (Ireland) is responsible for creating this myth, which she’ll sustain at all costs. Beautifully shot by the great Lucien Ballard (The Wild Bunch, Junior Bonner) with a beautiful score by legendary composer Elmer Bernstein (The Magnificent Seven, The Great Escape). Written and directed by Frank D. Gilroy (The Fastest Gun Alive).
