But when Shalako discovers that the countess is part of a European hunting party that refuses to be led to safety, he must summon all his courage to fight the Apache and save the woman he loves... or die trying! Beautifully shot in scope by James Bond veteran Ted Moore (From Russia with Love) and wonderfully directed by the great Edward Dmytryk (Murder, My Sweet). The all-star cast includes Stephen Boyd (Ben-Hur), Jack Hawkins (The Bridge on the River Kwai), Peter van Eyck (The Wages of Fear), Honor Blackman (Goldfinger) and Alexander Knox (The Vikings).
