Saddle up for a raucous and robust western adventure that packs great action and the crackling chemistry of screen icons Sean Connery (The Great Train Robbery) and Brigitte Bardot (Viva Maria!). Based on the novel by Louis L'Amour (The Man Called Noon), Shalako is a handsome and rousing western that delivers nonstop thrills ... with both barrels blazing. Gutsy gunslinger Shalako (Connery) is a loner who looks out for number one, until he finds himself rescuing and falling for a beautiful countess (Bardot) under attack by Apache Indians. But when Shalako discovers that the countess is part of a European hunting party that refuses to be led to safety, he must summon all his courage to fight the Apache and save the woman he loves... or die trying! Beautifully shot in scope by James Bond veteran Ted Moore (From Russia with Love) and wonderfully directed by the great Edward Dmytryk (Murder, My Sweet). The all-star cast includes Stephen Boyd (Ben-Hur), Jack Hawkins (The Bridge on the River Kwai), Peter van Eyck (The Wages of Fear), Honor Blackman (Goldfinger) and Alexander Knox (The Vikings).
