An accident paralyzed his legs… but not his will to live and love! Carrie Fisher (Star Wars, The Blues Brothers) co-stars with television legends John Ritter (Three’s Company, 8 Simple Rules), Robert Urich (Vega$, Spencer: For Hire) and Buddy Ebsen (The Beverly Hillbillies, Barnaby Jones) in this hit TV-movie about the struggles of a paraplegic college athlete. Paul Stallings (Ritter), a happy-go-lucky veterinary student, is paralyzed from the waist down during a polo match. Feeling despondent, he decides to go to his grandfather’s ranch and meets a young horse trainer, Marnie Clarkson (Fisher), who helps him overcome his handicap and learn how to live and love again. Television veteran Richard Michaels (Homeward Bound) directed this romantic tearjerker co-starring Ed Nelson (Midway) as Marnie’s dad and Barbara Stuart (Airplane!) and Walter Maslow (The Cosmic Man) as Paul’s parents.
