An American Hero Gets Back in the Saddle! For thirty years, Marshall Matt Dillon (James Arness, How the West Was Won) fought to preserve the law in Dodge City… now, he’s wanted for murder and fighting to clear his name. America’s epic lawman hits the trail once more in this action-packed western filmed on location in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This is the fourth of five film sequels to the classic series, the most popular western show in television history and the longest-running primetime dramatic TV series of all time. Three deputies ride up with a warrant for Dillon’s arrest, a wealthy mine operator has been gunned down in cold blood and an eyewitness says Dillon was the murderer. He willingly goes with the deputies to clear up the obvious case of mistaken identity, but once in New Mexico, Dillon learns he’s wanted dead or alive, with a $5,000 reward on his head courtesy of the dead miner’s son. Matt has to run from a lynch mob and his only hope is to find the real killer or killers. The stellar cast includes James Brolin (The Amityville Horror, The Car) and Ali McGraw (The Getaway, Love Story). Directed by veteran Jerry Jameson (Airport ’77, Gunsmoke: One Man’s Justice).
