BRIDEGROOM is about Shane and Tom, a couple whose romance is cut short by a terrible accident. After California's state law is updated to allow for same-sex marriage, Shane quickly makes plans to elope with his partner of six years, Tom, and live happily ever after. When Tom takes a wrong step off a high roof, Shane's life falls apart, and Tom's family wants nothing to do with him or his and Tom's love story. What happens after Shane decides to fight back opens a new window into the debate over marriage equality like no other.
